Terms of Service — NyanNyan Club

1. Service Description

NyanNyan Club is a prepaid JPY wallet service operated by Buy Doujinshi, designed to facilitate purchases of Japanese doujinshi, figures, and related goods from Japan.

The platform operates two independent services:

2.3 Membership Fees

Membership fees are charged separately from credit deposits. Membership fees are non-refundable once billed. Membership fees do not reduce your JPY wallet balance.

2.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time via the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

3. JPY Credit Deposits

3.1 Deposits

Credit deposits are processed via Komoju and paid directly to our Japanese purchasing partner. Minimum deposit: ¥20,000 per transaction. 100% of the deposited amount is loaded as spendable JPY balance. No deductions are made from the deposited amount.

3.2 Komoju Processing Fee

A payment processing fee of 4.9% is charged by Komoju on top of the deposit amount. This fee is calculated using the gross-up method:

Total charged = deposit amount ÷ (1 − 0.049)

The processing fee is non-refundable and does not form part of your wallet balance.

3.3 Deposit Non-Refundability

Credit deposits are non-refundable. Exceptions may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Buy Doujinshi.

4. Wallet Balance

4.1 Balance Behaviour

Your wallet maintains a single running JPY balance. Multiple deposits accumulate into one balance. Your balance never expires while your membership is active.

4.2 Wallet Status

Your wallet may be in one of the following states:

ACTIVE
Membership is current. You can deposit and spend freely.
GRACE PERIOD (14 days after membership expiry)
You can view your balance and history but cannot make new deposits or purchases. Renew within 14 days to restore full access without interruption.
INACTIVE (after grace period ends)
Wallet is locked. Balance is preserved but inaccessible. Reactivation requires purchasing a new membership. A reactivation fee may apply (configurable, currently ¥0).
ARCHIVED (after 150 consecutive inactive days)
Wallet is permanently archived. Remaining balance is forfeited. This action is irreversible.

4.3 Archive Warning

NyanNyan Club will send email warnings starting 30 days before a wallet is scheduled for archival. It is the customer's responsibility to act on these notices.

5. Wallet ID

Your Wallet ID (format: NYC-XXXXXX) is generated upon first membership activation. It is used to identify your account at Buy Doujinshi checkout and in all communications. Keep your Wallet ID confidential.

6. Payments Due

Deposit invoices are issued within 24 hours of a deposit request. Payment is due within 48 hours of invoice issuance. Unpaid invoices after 48 hours may be cancelled at our discretion.

7. Account Termination

Buy Doujinshi reserves the right to freeze or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at any time, without prior notice. Frozen accounts cannot make deposits or purchases.

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any formal proceedings.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated by email.
